Heritage Courses

India, an ancient civilisation is blessed with rich cultural heritage, both diverse and pluralistic. Its study has always been a field of interest to the scholars, both Indian and outsiders. As a result substantial amount of work has emerged with respect to its history and Heritage and is continuing to develop.

Following the essence of the objectives of Indian Heritage aims to bring together scholars, practitioners and community to build up dialogue network for critical understanding of heritage issues in India and how these have been developed, framed and used. It attempts to bring in a new approach to the idea of what heritage is and how it is should be studied, managed and interpreted. It further encourages participation of young professionals and scholars to develop new paradigms to argue traditional methodologies about and doing heritage, and bringing to the forefront the interests of the marginalised and excluded.

It also aims to bring in a substantive dialogue between scholars working on critical heritage theory at Pan World level with those writing about practices and challenges of heritage conservation in India.

Heritage Foundation provides platform to develop context to build relationships, share experiences, network and discuss research and trends through publications, annual meetings, seminars, workshops and other academic and research activities.

In this course we are using Google meet- power point presentation methodology.

For all the participants presence in course and assignments are compulsory as per the UGC rule.
